what is the purpose of this event?

Pastors and ministry leaders of Greater Houston spending 24 hours in unity, seeking and praying for revival and spiritual awakening in Greater Houston.

Who is invited?

You are! We're expecting over 400 pastors and ministry leaders from all denominations and cultures. Men and women. Youth Pastors, Discipleship Pastors, Senior Pastors, etc.

when is the summit?

Monday, February 27-Tuesday, February 28, 2017, noon to noon.

Lodging
 
what is the difference between room types?
  • Motel style rooms are individual rooms with a queen size, one or two bunks, a bathroom, and outdoor entry. Linens and towels are provided.

  • Group Homes have a central living area with 2 or more large bunk rooms and a large bathroom for each room. Linens are provided. Towels are NOT provided in group homes.

  • Private rooms for married couples are motel style with a queen size bed, private bathroom, and outdoor entry. Linens and towels are provided.

how will rooms be assigned?
  • Men and women will be housed separately unless a married couple registers for a private room.

  • Groups registering or attending together will be roomed together as cabin arrangements allow, according to roommate requests and type of room reserved (Motel Style or Group Home).

  • Members of two or more groups may be roomed together if needed.

  • Roommate requests will be honored as much as possible, but cannot be guaranteed.

  • Individuals who do not list a roommate request when registering will be roomed with others from their general area as much as possible.

are there rooms for married couples?

Yes! A limited number of private, motel-style rooms are available for married couples to reserve when registering. All other room assignments will house men and women separately, including husbands and wives who do not reserve a private room.

Can I reserve a private room for myself?

Due to cabin arrangements and the size of this event, we are not able to offer private rooms for individuals.

what should I bring?
  • Your Bible

  • A journal and pen

  • If staying in a Group Home, towel(s) and washcloth

  • A jacket or sweater

  • Clothes for Tuesday

  • Clothes for recreation during free times (optional)

will I have to walk or go far to my room?

Each building has a small area for parking or space to park alongside the road. These spaces are limited. We recommend parking at the worship center and carpooling with your group or roommates if you wish to drive to your room or the dining hall.

 
Prayer and worship
who will lead worship and prayer?

Worship will be led by the Wayne Kerr Band. Each prayer session will be led by various ministry leaders from across Greater Houston.

who will be the speaker?

While there will be different prayer leaders throughout the various worship and prayer sessions, there are no speakers. This is not a conference. The goal of this event is for pastors and ministries leaders of Greater Houston to gather for 24 hours in unified prayer for revival and spiritual awakening in Greater Houston.

will i be asked to lead prayer at the summit?

All leaders for the prayer sessions will be asked ahead of time by a representative from the Summit Steering Team. You will have many opportunities to lead prayer in small groups.

will there be a place for private prayer while at the summit?

Yes. Trinity Pines has a beautiful outdoor prayer chapel and garden with seating that will be reserved for this purpose during this event. We invite you to use this area during free times for pastoral retreat and restoration.

how can i help promote the summit?

Download promotional materials for free. You can print info cards to handout, attach the logo to digital newsletters, share on social media, etc.

can i promote my ministry at the summit?

Not formally. Prayer in the Lord's presence is the focus of this event. While we encourage you to share about your ministry in conversation with other ministry leaders during free times, please respect the nature of this event and help keep the focus on prayer. We will not display or give out any promotional material throughout this event.

how much does it cost?

Super Early Bird rates are $65-$180 until November 15, 2016. Early Bird rates are $70-190 until December 15, 2016. Regular rates are $80-210.

what is the deadline to register?

Registration closes February 12, 2017.

what if i miss the registration deadline?

Space is limited. All participants must preregister prior to February 12, 2017. Contact the Summit Administrator for any other questions.

what does my registration cover?

Registration fees cover your meals and lodging. All other Summit costs are being covered by sponsoring churches and ministries.

are scholarships available?

Yes! We do not want finances to stop you from attending the Summit. A limited number of scholarships are being provided by sponsoring churches and ministries. Click here to apply for a scholarship.

what if I need to cancel my registration?

Due to the size of this event, registrations are nonrefundable. However, we are happy to transfer your registration to someone else upon request if lodging arrangements allow, prior to February 12, 2017. Click here to request your registration be transferred.

can i register a group?

Please do! Both motel style rooms and group homes with larger bunk rooms are available for groups. Names and email addresses for all group members must be provided at the time of registration. Groups registered or attending together will be roomed together as cabin arrangements allow, according to type of room reserved when registering.

can i register with my spouse?

Yes! We are happy to be able to offer a limited number of private rooms for married couples.

can i register at the summit?

No. All participants must preregister in order to abide by Trinity Pines policies and ensure we have enough food and lodging for everyone.

what if I can only attend on Monday or only on Tuesday?

The registration form gives you the option for a No Lodging/Meal Only and allows you to pay for and let us know which meals you will be present for during the Summit.

what is a summit financial sponsor?

Putting on an event of this size requires more funding than what we charge in registration fees. Therefore, several churches and ministries across Greater Houston have chosen to give toward this event in order to make it happen. There is no public list of sponsoring churches. These churches have chosen to give without accolade, believing the vision to see revival and spiritual awakening in Greater Houston.

transportation
will there be paved parking available for my group to bring a bus?

Yes. We encourage you to carpool with other people from your group or area.

 
can you connect me with someone else in my area who will be attending?

No. We do not share personal contact information of our registrants. We encourage you to invite fellow pastors or ministry leaders from your area of the city!
